    • 4th Quarter estimated tax payment due (Form 1040-ES)

    January 31
     
    • W-2 forms due to employees
    • 1099-NEC forms due to independent contractors
    • W-2 and 1099 forms due to the IRS
    • Employer’s Quarterly Federal Payroll Tax Return due (Form 941 – Q4)
    • Federal Unemployment Tax Return due (Form 940)
  • February 10
     
    • Deadline to file Form 940 if FUTA taxes were paid on time
  • March 15
     
    • Partnership tax returns due (Form 1065)
    • S Corporation tax returns due (Form 1120-S)
    • Extension to file due for Partnerships and S Corporations (Form 7004)
APRIL — MAJOR DEADLINE MONTH

  • Individual tax returns due (Form 1040 / 1040-SR)
